The golden angle (137.508°) divides a
circle in the golden ratio φ = 1.618...
360° / φ² = 360° / 2.618... = 137.508°
This is the most irrational number —
hardest to approximate by any fraction.
So seeds placed at this angle never
align into rows, creating the most
efficient packing possible.
The visible spirals always number
consecutive Fibonacci numbers:
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89...
